2. falter v. 支吾，結巴

sentence sb. to life imprisonment：判某人終生監禁
e.g.：在被控訴(be accused of)謀殺后 他被判處終身監禁.
After being accused of murder, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.
6. reveal v. 使顯露，揭露
e.g. 翻譯：
The secret could by no means be revealed, otherwise, all will be astounded at the fact that the anonymous thief is our boss.
