“The young man did not wake up until the bed had struck the ground.”(P232頁,第49課,第7行)
那年輕人直到床撞倒地上才醒了過來。
經典句型提煉：主句（含not的否定式）＋until時間狀語從句。
大家是否曾為過去的事情而感到一絲后悔？這時你會發出一句感慨之言：擁有的時候不愛惜，等到失去的時候才懂得它的價值！這句話用英文如何表達？我們就可以用到這個句型！
We don’t know what is good until it was gone!
這是“not…until…”表達“直到…才…”的句型。
１.主句中的動詞都是短暫性動詞
2.時間狀語從句中用一般現在時代替一般將來時
3.一般從句動作先于主句發生動作,如果要強調從句動作的完成狀態,可以用完成時態
4.until可以換作till
舉例加以證明：
She didn’t realize her mistake until her friend had reminded her of it.
直到朋友提醒她，她才意識到自己的錯誤。
這個句式的厲害之處是：可以擴展兩個延伸句型：(高級別的考試中)
not until +時間狀語從句+倒裝后的主句
it is not until+時間狀語從句+that+主句
第一個句式是將否定性時間狀語提前的倒裝句式。
第二個句式是強調句，強調時間狀語。
所以以上的例句便可轉化為：
Not until her friend had reminded her of it did she realize the mistake.
It was not until her friend had reminded her of it that she realized the mistake.
