在新二L7出現的這一句
The plane was late and detectives were waiting at the airport all morning.
此處的airport，大家都知道是機場的意思。
Port本身這個詞意思還是比較多的，做名詞時，有港口，電腦端口的意思。如剛提到的airport，還有server port服務器端口等。
做動詞時，有持（槍），攜帶等意思，他還是一個非常常用的名字，很多人，地點都有他。

葡萄牙的紅酒質量很高，最聞名世界的便是Porto / Port Wine - 波特酒。波特酒必須是采用來自葡萄牙北方的Douro（多羅）河流域所生產的葡萄所釀制，而且從多羅河港口的城市Porto輸出的葡萄酒，才可以冠上Port之名。

這個port加ly，則意思完全不同，他本意為莊重的，但是這里意為肥胖粗壯的意思。

因為port有攜帶，手持的意思，所以support這個單詞有支持的意思。
