【這篇小作文寫得還不錯，改的地方相對少】 

In the reading passage, the writer states that the portrait of a woman couldn’t have been accomplished by Rembrandt, a notable Dutch painter and a celebrated master of light and shadow. To begin with, the woman is clad in a white linen cap which shows she works as a servant while she is also wearing a fur collar made for noble[p1] . Apparently, the woman’s clothing doesn’t fit very well, but Rembrandt couldn’t have forgotten about these details. In addition, the face of the woman is lit up from below but her collar is in dark color which is impossible to reflect the light. Rembrandt, who is adept at light and shadow, wouldn’t have committed such a mistake. Furthermore, the portrait is painted on several wood panels glued together, which seems unusual when compared to other paintings of Rembrandt.

However, the lecture completely contradicts[p2]  with the passage. The speaker claims that after examined by a group of experts, the portrait turns out to be attributed by[p3]  Rembrandt and the presenter provides sufficient evidence to support his point of view. Firstly, the collar that doesn’t fit the woman’s social status was found to be added to the painting one hundred years after Rembrandt had finished it in order to increase the value of the portrait. Secondly, when the experts removed the added part, light colors are found instead of the dark ones[p4] , which could possibly[p5]  illuminate the woman’s face. Lastly, the original painting is made up of only one panel. Others were added to enlarge the painting when it was modified by someone else and the genuine one is from the same tree as the panel used in another painting of Rembrandt.
